The color of the dash I'm sure is the original paint but does not look like a match to any of the color swatches I see for 53's? I wouldn't mind finding a spare xfer case? The output shaft bearing (still in good shape) was welded to the case on my case. We are in the process of rebuilding the engine, xfer case, and trans right now. Would there be a number stamped someplace on the frame (other) that would be the correct number? This truck does have the WO tailgate, 3 bar grill, F-head engine. The VIN tag looks like a replacement and has the wrong horsepower (60 H.P.) on it too. I suspect this number "1T51198" is perhaps the engine number, I'll have to check. Upper right hand corner is a box "VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER" is above the box, below the box is "ENGINE OR OTHER I.D.
